PLAN-IT HELPED THE STRIDE RITE CORPORATION better understand customers and prospects of the company's brands and identified potential marketing and licensing opportunities for the company. Much of our work focused on exploring opportunities for maintaining and increasing relevance of the Stride Rite brand as the children's shoe market has become increasingly competitive in recent years. One project included an exploratory probe of childhood educators' attitudes to identify psychographic trends among children and families and the resulting impact on brand and buying behavior in the footwear category. Our insights were used to make long-term planning decisions.
