Evaluating New App/Start-Up Viability
Challenge: Determine the viability of a potential new app concept that combines personal fitness goals with non-fitness personal goals.
Objective: Evaluate overall interest in the app and establish and profile potential consumer audiences. Develop insights into the habits and preferences of potential audiences that would have an impact on both the design parameters and success of the app.
Solution: An online quantitative viability study was conducted across a broad demographic of fitness-minded individuals.
Result: Based on insights and learning from the quantitative data, Plan-it determined the overall interest in the app concept. The study provided data that narrowed down a demographic that was most interested in the app. Data gave insights into the most compelling aspects of the concept which will guide app design as well as messaging strategy.
